1. What is a Metalized Film ?

A Metalized Film is a substrate of Polymer Film coated or laminated with a layer of Metal - usually Aluminum, but also Copper, Silver, Gold etc.

2.What is a Vacuum Metalized Film ?

When a very thin layer of Metal is deposited over the surface of a Plastic Film by first converting the Metal into a Vapour and then depositing it over a fast moving Web of Plastic Film or Paper Substrate, the resultant product is known as Vacuum Metalized Film or Vacuum Metalized Paper. Generally speaking, Metalized Film usually means Aluminum Metalized Films - because it covers almost the entire spectrum of numerous and high tech applications for Vacuum Metalized Films - however other metals like Copper, Silver, Zinc are used for Metalizing for specific applications.

3. What is the manufacturing Process for Vacuum Metalized Films ?
The Metalized Film is made by the process in which aluminum is heated in vacuum to be evaporated into atom and molecules and these molecules are sprayed and solidified on the cooled film surface moving at high speed to form multi crystallized thin layer.

1.Vacuum Pump : Maintains vacuum state.

2.Winder : Winds and releases film.

3.Vaporizer : Evaporate metal material for metallization.

      4. Cooling Drum : Condenses the metal sprayed on the
film and protects Film from Intense Heat

4. What are the typical applications of Vacuum Metalized Films ?

>> Holographic Products & Holographic Packaging Films
>> Packaging Films for Food, Medicines and Consumer Products
>> Metallic Yarn
>> Anti Static Films & Packaging.
>> Electrical & Plumbing Cable Wraps
>> Hot Stamping Foils
>> Heat & Light Insulating Window Films
>> Green House Covers for Agriculture, Horticulture & Flooriculture

5. What is a Hologram ?

Holography is the process by which Three Dimensional Visual Information is Recorded, Stored and Replayed.
A Hologram refers to the "Flat Picture" that displays a "Multi Dimensional Image" under proper illumination.
Unlike any Photograph, a Holographic image has "Parallex" i.e. the Ability to be Seen from Many Angles and Depth - just like we see things in real life.

6. How do Holograms work ?

When a Beam of Light strikes a Hologram at the proper angle, a Multi-dimensional Image will appear - Direct Sunlight or a Single Overhead Spotlight is the best way to illuminate Holograms with deep Imagery.
Embossed Holograms, with their Shallower Imagery, can be viewed when lighting is less than ideal - under Fluorescent light etc.

7. How are Holograms made ?

Holograms are made using Precision Optical and special Photosensitive Materials, which are exposed with Laser Light. After the first Hologram is made in the Laboratory (Known as the MASTER), the Holographic Image can be copied repeatedly on a variety of formats, depending on the intended applications and required quantities.

8. What is an Embossed Hologram ?

For a large amount of Holograms to be produced in a Cost Effective manner, a method was developed to Emboss very complex microscopic patterns onto rolls of very thin Plastic or Foil Materials. Light Diffracts through these patterns to Create the Holographic Image. Embossed Holograms Can Not Be Copied using Normal Printing and Copying Technologies.

9. what are the different types of Embossed Holograms ?

3 D
These Holograms display a Three Dimensional Image which looks identical to a Real Object. The viewer can literally "Look Around" the "Top" and "Sides" of the Object just as if the actual object was there. A 3D Hologram is a "Spectacular" thing to watch and people are fascinated.

2D/3D

These Holograms display a unique Multi-level, Multi-Colour effect. These Images have One or Two levels of Flat Graphics, Floating Above or at the Surface of the Hologram. Background Artwork seems to be 2D/3D Holograms is that these Fascinating images can be viewed under a wide variety of Light sources. They are extremely eye-catching and enjoyed by Children and Adults alike.

STEREOGRAMS
This types of Holograms originate with Cinematic Footage which is Processed Holographically to create and Multi-dimensional Effect. Special Effects, Computer Graphics, Animated Subjects and even Outdoor Scenes can all be utilized as Elements of Stereograms, which are also known as Multiplexes.

10. What are the applications of Holographic products ?

>> Security Holograms
>> Promotional Holograms
>> Holographic Taggers
>> Holographic Adhesive & Stamping Tapes
>> Holographic Shrink Sleeves
>> Textile Holograms
>> Hot Stamping Holograms
>> Holographic Laminates
>> Holographic Packaging Films
>> Holographic Gift Wraps and many other products
